Every March, the Brookfield Arts Commission holds a film festival. For three days, they screen a variety of short and foreign films. There’s also Fire Department Kid’s Day. Held in June, the fire department offers demonstrations regarding fire prevention and safety. Kids and adults alike can take a ride on one of the two 1930’s fire trucks or dress in firefighter gear.
